Speak Out! Voice Therapy for Individuals with Parkinson's Disease
Amy’s professional experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist has been in outpatient, homecare, and inpatient rehabilitation settings in North Carolina and the Syracuse area for over 20 years. During that time, she has worked with clients of all ages and various medical conditions including traumatic brain injuries, stroke, Parkinson’s and developmental delays.
Amy has a passion for her work and often does volunteer work with students in the Syracuse University Speech-Language program as a provider of internships and as a guest speaker in classes offered through the Syracuse University degree program. Her passion for her career and patients stems from her belief that, as part of her career, it is her obligation and responsibility to give back to the field by helping future leaders grow as therapists and to have a positive impact on speech therapy as a whole.
In her free time, Amy enjoys traveling with her son and husband and spending time with friends and family. She is an avid runner and a dedicated Buffalo Bills fan.
