Maria started her professional career as a traveling physical therapist, which gave her travel experiences throughout the United States, and more importantly, allowed her to work across a variety of settings, from hospital based therapy, to inpatient rehabilitation, to outpatient sports focused therapy.
After moving home to Syracuse, NY, Maria developed knowledge and skills working with individuals with neurological conditions, including stroke, spinal cord injury, traumatic brain injury, vestibular disorders, spine injuries, degenerative neurological disorders and balance impairments.
Maria is passionate about providing whole-person care within the treatment of every individual. Every person has the capacity to reach their goals, when given the knowledge and skills to succeed.
In Maria's free time, she enjoys going on outdoor adventures with her husband and three children. She is a Girl Scout leader to a group of 6 year olds, and also loves to exercise, garden and cook.
