Kate received her bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Clarkson University. She earned her Professional Engineering license in New York State in 2003. She spent 15 years designing water treatment plants and wastewater treatment plants.
After having her second child born premature and medically fragile, she became a stay-at-home mom. She spent nine years at home and also had a third child.
During the time at home caring for her children, she became very involved with navigating the medical insurance world to meet the medical needs of her child. Joining Engage put her life experience to work.
Currently Kate lives with her husband, three kids, and dog in Manlius. Working part time with Engage fits in well with her continued role at home with the kids. The entire family enjoys playing outside, spending time at the family lake house and snowboarding.
