There are apps that can help to monitor and manage your PD symptoms. Here are a list of some of our favorites:

  • APDA Symptom Tracker App: This helps to track your motor and non-motor symptoms of PD. It can create a graph of your information and can track your symptoms over time. This can be helpful to share with your care team.

  • Loud & Clear: This addresses the specific changes in a person’s voice that Parkinson’s Disease (PD) can cause. Its protocol leads the person with Parkinson’s through warm-ups and exercises to help them re-calibrate their voice in 20-minute sessions. The app is not intended to replace voice treatment from a Speech Language Pathologist/ Speech & Language Therapist.

  • Speech Pacesetter: This offers visual pacing supports to help clients who have imprecise articulation and a fast rate of speech.

  • Insight Timer, Calm, and Headspace: These are all great meditation apps that you can use anywhere.

  • Steady Type Keyboard: This can help with a tremor by helping with typing and suggesting words that require fewer key strokes.

  • Medication Tracker: This can help you stay on top of your medications and not miss a dose.

  • Peak Brain Training: This provides games to work on cognitive skills.
