The link between diet and migraines is real, and some common foods and drinks could be the culprits.   1. Caffeinated DrinksFor some people, caffeine can cause migraines, while for others, it may help relieve them. However, drinking too much or having caffeine irregularly can cause withdrawal headaches, which might feel like a migraine.

    How It Affects Migraines: Caffeine narrows blood vessels, and when you suddenly reduce or skip caffeine, it can trigger a headache as the blood flow changes.Examples: Coffee, tea, sodas, energy drinks, chocolate.


  2. Aged Cheeses and Processed MeatsThese foods contain tyramine, a compound that forms as certain proteins break down when the food ages. Tyramine has been linked to migraines.
